Dark Knot, AKA, Jon, Has been tying now for 9 years. His amazing shibari Journey began when he stumbled across Anatomie Studios and their fabulous mentors, he moved on from the westernised ‘damsel in distress’ rope bondage and grew to love the more eastern Japanese influences. His skill, speed and creativity grew with every single individual he had wrapped in rope. 

Bex Bunny, AKA, Bex, started out as a Rope Bottom. For her, It was important to learn all about the anatomy and how to stay safe and communicate with the Rigger clearly. Attending peer ropes and learning the basics by self tying, she ended up absolutely loving the flow of rope, the creativity, spontaneity and ironically, the freedom rope can give you when tying. Bex comes from an artistic and filmic background so is heavily influenced by stunning shibari photography and super talented inspiring individuals out there.

Jon and Bex Have been tying together since November 2022 and fell madly in love whilst doing so, The couples sadistic and sensual tying has pushed them to creating interesting and challenging shapes, suspensions and scenes that will hopefully see them putting on shibari performances across the globe at some point. They love to teach, share knowledge and watch others in the community grow and share a similar passion. The Estuary Dungeon & Shibari Lounge’s jams and courses allow for an intimate experience to really get down to the nitty gritty business of rope, any lingo that may help you communicate with one another, how to create a scene, or anything you desire!
